How you participate

The position you would hold, and the money you would use.

Operating partner

Develops, manages and reports on the property. Provides the offering documents, the distributions and the tax materials under its own agreements.

Capstaq

Evaluates the opportunity and the operator, explains what is being offered, and supports the investor relationship. Capstaq is not the issuer, the custodian or the administrator.

You

Review the materials. Consult your own advisers. Make the decision.

01 The position you would hold

LP equity

A passive ownership position in a single real estate asset.

Joint venture

Two or more parties owning one asset together under a negotiated agreement. The label says nothing about who controls decisions; the operating agreement does.

Real estate debt

Lending secured by real estate, repaid ahead of the owners.

These are the positions Capstaq presents. Which one an opportunity offers, and what it entitles you to, is set by that opportunity's own documents rather than by the name of the structure. No opportunity presented on this site offers a preferred equity or mezzanine position.

02 The money you would use

On liquidity

Private real estate is illiquid. Plan to hold for the full period the offering documents state.

On minimums and terms

Minimums and terms are set by each opportunity's offering documents.

When you are ready

One form. One place.

When you are ready to see the full picture on an opportunity, request access or speak with someone first.
